three years ago today - ry took me out on out on our first date... on Valentine’s Day haha. We had been friends for years and the whole night before I was trying to figure out if this was a “just friends” thing or if he was actually trying to (finally) break us out of the friend zone. Turns out it was the latter 🎉🎉

Happy Valentines to my husband. So grateful for you in my life to support me, love me, and push me forward in all the things I do ❤️

Is that part of your conversation with your fiance during the wedding planning process? Or part of your internal struggle when you are figuring out where to budget the money? I hear it over and over again from my brides. Grooms are a little hesitant about it all. Brides don't want to regret spending money on it.

LISTEN - I GET IT. My husband was a little skeptical too (me being a wedding videographer didn't leave him with a ton of choice in the matter lol) but he was worried it would be awkward having someone videoing every moment. He didn't want to look awkward or say something awkward. I had a few fears MYSELF! - what if our toasts weren't that great and I didn't want them in our video? I was pretty picky on the style of editing too - I didn't want a cheesy slow motion video that would never get watched. I didn't want my husband to act nervous on our WEDDING DAY because of a videographer!

I got a DM the other day from one of my past GROOMS saying, "def cry every time i wach it - really thank you for giving us something we wil be able to watch forever and show our future family. youre amazing." This was from a couple that booked me TWO WEEKS before their wedding because they didn't think they needed a videographer and then last minute changed their minds!!!

So if you are getting married in a few months and still going back and forth on the idea of having a wedding videographer - all I have to say is - you do NOT want to regret not having one!! They are the best way to relive your wedding day and remmeber the sweet things that were said during your ceremony ❤️

Okay guys - here they are! Something I am so passionate about and so excited to share with you guys! LOVE STORY MINI SESSIONS (just in time for Valentines Day!) and also a little introduction to how sneaky my grandpa is in getting my grandma to talk to him for the first time! I had NO CLUE this is how they met until I was filming this! hahaha

I posted all about these in my stories today (in a highlight bubble now) but want to post this killer deal with you guys here. I am always trying to compile my family’s story to keep for my kids and their kids, etc. and let me tell you - it is so hard! We are always busy and it’s hard finding the time to sit down and get it done. And once it’s “done” and documented - put it together too it’s easy to watch. I have a vision of popping in (lol more like pulling up - I’m not making VHS tapes for you guys) these edited family videos of my grandparents and their stories and my parents’ stories for my kids to watch on the weekends one day so I am slowly working through getting these done.

SO I want to help you guys out in this same effort! And I am making it superrrr affordable so that everyone can do this. You can come in with your spouse, your parents, and your grandparents and get all generations recorded and documented all at once or get a session just for your grandparents.

20 min video interview session
15 min photo session in a studio
Old photos and videos added in to your final love story documentary
5-10 edited photos

I will do all the heavy lifting to get your stories recorded. We’ll schedule a 45 minute spot for you, have you come to a studio, hang out, grab some snacks, and that’s it! I’ll send over a website with everything for you guys a few weeks later that you can download everything and share with extended family!

It’s wedding day!!! 2020 is a going to be my favorite year yet - I can just feel it ☺️ and I’m so excited to start off the year with this beautiful wedding in Sacramento!!

Also - this lil babe pictured didn’t make it on this trip but it is the newest Super 8 addition to the family. My dad got it for me for my birthday a few months back ❤️❤️
