After completing the filming and editing of this video, we received news that our Prime Minister, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, is attending peace talks in Malaysia today to address the deadly border conflict with Thailand. The talks—co-organized by the United States, with participation from China and hosted by ASEAN Chair Malaysias to seek an immediate ceasefire.
We pray for a successful negotiation and lasting peace between both nations.
Our message as citizens remains the same: we call on the international community, especially media outlets, to report responsibly, ask the hard questions, and present both sides of the story. We urge for full transparency through neutral third-party mediation, as called by our government, where evidence can be examined fairly and impartially to lay the foundation for peace that endures.
We wish Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet and his delegation safe travels, productive dialogue, and a peaceful return home. We thank him for his unwavering commitment to justice and peace for Cambodia.
