No excuses or explanations — just admission of wrongdoing. And Madonna, holding no grudge for this inexplicable decades-long feud, just accepts, too.

I don’t know what started it and it doesn’t matter. That’s how an apology is done, and accepted! ❤️

“We Finally Buried the Hatchet!!!
I went to see perform on SNL this weekend!! WOW.
I remembered when I was in high school- I snuck out of the house one night to see Elton perform live in Detroit! It was an unforgettable performance that helped me understand the transformative power of music.
Seeing him perform when I was in high school changed the course of my life. I had always felt like an outsider growing up and watching him on stage helped me to understand that it was OK to be different-to stand out- to take the road, less traveled by. In fact, it was essential.
Over the decades it hurt me to know that someone I admired so much shared his dislike of me publicly as an artist. I didn’t understand it. I was told Elton John was the musical guest on SNL and I decided to go.
I needed to go backstage and confront him . When I met him, the first thing out of his mouth was, “Forgive Me” and the wall between us fell down.
Forgiveness is a powerful tool. Within minutes. We were hugging.
Then he told me had written a song for me and he wanted to collaborate. It was like everything came full circle!!
And you can tell everybody , This is Your Song……….💙🩵🩶🤍”

Is this what you voted for, ? are we doing? In America? , people? I don’t want to post about the atrocities in the US right now on this account any more than you want to see it, probably, but sometimes — it’s just too much. Unfollow me - I couldn’t care any less. WHAT THE F*CK ARE WE DOING?Every one of you claiming and then sitting by watching THIS — . Shame. How you care more about an embryo than a living child with no parents to protect them, at the mercy of a judicial system in a country as vast and powerful as America…and you sit idly by and support the madman administration that is leading this charge?All ostensibly up in arms about and his child victims but then you laugh at this? SHAME. means being a great, righteous country. This is not that. You can’t be great or righteous without fairness and protecting the weakest among us. You can be evil and even invoke fear, but you will never be great. from :“This is morally wrong. How can we sit by while five-year-olds are forced to stand alone in court?In a nation with so much, how can we allow children seeking safety to be abandoned by a broken system?Children in our nation should find compassion not cruelty?These are not our values; they’re being violated by a cruel president. I know we said we shouldn’t put unrealistically high expectations on our children, but this is a bit much, no? I mean… a nonverbal 2yo can open a laptop… no?
