We also started using a new grain that has made our horses super shiney and they immediately started to look better. It is called "Running Horse". I love this new grain.

Just an FYI. I have been buying my hay from CAL Ranch. I never dreamed I would be doing that but a friend bought some and said her horses wouldn't eat it so she gave it to us. It was very nice hay. We started buying our hay there. The hay is steam cleaned and dust free, it is consistent. and the bailes are extra heavy. We weigh of hay at each feeding and I was blown away at the number of feedings we were getting. And the price is very standard. Consistence is a major thing for me. I would recommend trying it. You won't be disappointed. We feed a mix of alfalfa and orchard.

I know...I have been gone for a while. I had 7 surgeries in 14 months and then the recovery. It's been a long haul but I plan on getting "back in the saddle" on social media. Start watching again.
