Should William Karlsson be the #1 priority for the Vegas Golden Knights this offseason?

Signing a one-year deal worth 5.25M the previous offseason, he finished this season with 24 Goals, 32 Assists, and 56 points for the 18-19 season.
Since being drafted from the Blue Jackets in the Expansion Draft, he has been a fan favorite and has been a productive 1st line winger with 67 goals in his two seasons with Vegas.

But... Is he the most important problem that the Vegas Golden Knights need to address this upcoming off-season?

The Golden Knights power play unit was lacking the entire 18-19 season and the playoff series vs the San Jose Sharks spotlighted this problem with scoring the game winning goal on a 5 on 4 power play in Game 6 and the Sharks scoring 4 goals in 5 minutes in Game 7.

The Golden Knights have other free agents that they need to address as well.
Jimmy Schuldt and Nikita Gusev joined the Golden Knights earlier this season and are expected to return.
Veterans Deryk Engelland and Pierre-Edouard Bellemare are leaders of the locker room but could be replaced with younger talent.
Bottom Six Forwards Tomas Nosek, Brandon Pirri, and Ryan Carpenter are solid players but could leave the Golden Knights if not offered the right contract.
Malcolm Subban and Maxime Lagace have been a backup to Marc-Andre Fleury and would both be reliable options to return but they could also be looking for a new start somewhere else.

One other key thing that the Golden Knights should focus on is the 2019 NHL Draft. The Golden Knights have nine draft picks in the first five rounds and could draft players like D Thomas Harley, C Ryan Suzuki, or G Spencer Knight that would be ready to be on the main roster in the next couple years with 2017 1st round pick Cody Glass, 2017 2nd round pick Nicholas Hague, Zach Whitecloud, Dylan Ferguson, and other key prospects in their system.
