Twelve filaments. Each one its own color. ๐Ÿ”†

Most wash lights are invisible on purpose. You see what they light, not the fixture. The Martin MAC Aura XIP is built the other way around. A ring of twelve individually controlled RGBW filaments around the lens means the rig reads as design on the wide shot instead of a truss line the photographer crops out.

Seven more addressable pixels inside the beam. Nineteen points of light per fixture, all off a normal console.

Sixty units in the fleet August 15. Indoor and outdoor rated, 19.7 lbs, quiet enough to sit over an open mic.

New in the Fleet: 102 Chauvet WELL POD 2 battery uplights. ๐Ÿ”‹

There's no cable to run to these. Battery inside, wireless control, and they're rated for outdoor use, so they work as well lining a ballroom wall as they do out in a courtyard for cocktail hour.

Which means we can put light where a room actually needs it instead of where the nearest outlet happens to be.
