The New York Giants thought they had their tight end situation straightened out this season when they selected Penn State’s Theo Johnson in the fourth round of the NFL draft.
The 6-foot-6, 260-pound Johnson possessed similar size and skills to that of Darren Waller, who retired during the offseason.
For a while, it worked. Johnson became the Giants’ top receiving tight end catching 29 of 43 targets for 331 yards and a touchdown in 11 starts this season before breaking a bone in his foot in the Giants’ Thanksgiving Day loss in Dallas.
The Giants’ depth chart puts Daniel Bellinger back into a receiving role while Chris Manhertz remains the primary blocking tight end.
There’s a new piece to the equation, however.
Last week, the Giants claimed Greg Dulcich off waivers from Denver. He is a talented player who fell through the cracks with coaching changes and injuries as a 2022 third-round pick for the Broncos.

New York, NY – December 6, 2024 – A&E and WWE today announced an expansion of its programming partnership which will include the debut of “WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats),” a new competition series that features in-ring matches along with a behind-the-scenes look at rising talent vying for a coveted WWE contract while being mentored by WWE Legends such as Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Booker T.

Additionally, WWE & A&E will launch “WWE’s Greatest Moments,” a series that will provide fans a front-row seat to relive the iconic events that have shaped WWE history. A new season of the hit-series “WWE Rivals” will also complement this winter’s WWE programming slate on A&E, which will add more than 180 hours of original content over the next three years.

Emma Raducanu has started working with Yutaka Nakamura, the fitness coach known for his work with Maria Sharapova and Naomi Osaka.The 22-year-old, who will fly to Brisbane next week for some warm weather training before the new season, says Nakamura will be with her "pretty much most weeks" of the year.Injuries have acted as a persistent handbrake on Raducanu's career since she won the US Open as a teenager in 2021.But following a trial earlier in the autumn, she feels now is the right time to add a dedicated fitness expert to her team."I think he is going to help me just really explore how far I can go, like athletically," Raducanu said."I think it's a big strength of mine that I have nowhere near fulfilled. I think I can become one of the best athletes out there in tennis and I'm just looking forward to seeing how much I can do."My natural athleticism is something that I have to use.
