Duane “Keffe D” Davis told detectives in a 2008 interview that his nephew, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, was the one who fired the shots that killed Tupac Shakur.
The interview is central evidence; prosecutors rely on Davis’ admissions in interviews, podcasts, and his 2019 memoir, despite previous conflicting statements to the FBI.
Davis has pleaded not guilty, with his lawyer calling the prosecution’s narrative fiction and arguing investigators lacked supporting evidence for his statements.
