A better view of the beautiful red racer that we saw at Arizona Hot Springs Saturday night. We gotta remember that this land belongs to all of the animal Kingdom before it ever became a place that we started to hang out. So protect the area for their sake and never touch, pick up, harass, or feed wild animals. Be smart, be safe, keep a safe distance.

I’m no snake expert but I do believe this is a Red Racer coming to check us out while we’re eating lunch on the beach. This was one of two snakes spotted at Arizona Hot Springs that afternoon. This little guy is non-venomous and helps with rodent control. The other one was Striper rattlesnake.

my guests said that this snake had kind eyes, I would agree 🐍

One night camping trip, done and dusted!

This is just a small taste of the amazing adventure of spending the night in the River corridor 🤙

both Arizona Hot Springs and gold strike Hot Springs have changed from the most recent flash flood floods. While camping in the canyon we got notifications of flash floods and saw heat lightning over the canyon Ridge. Constant flashes for 5 to 6 hours at night. Definitely made it hard to fall asleep lol

Best tours ever?

These four gals from NY take a girls trip every year, and I got lucky enough to see them twice on their 16th adventure together! They call themselves the Bolder babes and watch out! Here for a good time, not a long time 🤙

Earlier in the week we took an adventure to the Emerald Cave, and just yesterday we were able to crunch some miles on the historic railroad Trail on our mountain bikes! From the river to the mountains, to the Hoover Dam!

UPDATE!!! BACKPACK FOUND!!! Yesterday the Rangers picked it up and passed me on the river and I passed them on the hunt to find it, like two ships in the night except it was 106 and midday. I’m so happy I actually cried when they were describing what they had at lost and found at the Willow Beach Marina and then they brought it out to me and I gave everybody a big hug. A huge thank you to the Willow Beach Marina and the national Park Rangers. Lake Mead NPS is the best!

Not often do we get a cloudy day in the Mojave so today was special for many reasons.

Not only did we have whole sections of the river all to ourselves, we did see Bighorn sheep coming down to the water, and had lots of time to swim and relax!

Even when the emerald cave isn’t lit it’s still gonna be a blast!

Shout out to Stacy Holmes for an amazing last name! Also just shout out to an amazing group of people coming from all over the country, mainly a huge section coming from volunteer country back in East Tennessee 🤙 Go Vols! 🧡
