In the light of the full moon, the rider on his white steed awaits his damsel of the Rococo mansion. He calls out her name as she walks out to the steps, unaware that she cannot walk past the first step or she might disappear into the night. Neither realizes she had died in the night, and as her apparition once again escapes her body, she cries out for his soul to join her.
