This Last week I had the opportunity to meet with a deacons quorum and have a conversation about inadequacy. During this conversation I thought of how our Father in Heaven views us during our moments of pity and insecurity. I imagine it’s the same as when a child looks up to a parent wishing they were bigger and could do big thing. In those moments the parents never discourage the child but have high hopes for the them, knowing they hold the potential to be so much more then they are now.
We are made in the image of a loving Heavenly Father, who see us in our weakness but has nothing but unwavering faith and hope in us that we can not only return back to Him but partake of all of his goodness and eternal blessings. Let us keep the Saviors commandment and “become as little children”; being humble, obedient, and working to grow into who our Father in Heaven knows we can be:
