Tomorrow night is the State of the Union.

Some lawmakers are planning not to attend. Others are planning protests.

Here’s what I keep thinking about.

If you believe the President divides us, the most powerful thing you could do is sit in that chamber, listen respectfully, and then deliver your rebuttal with substance. Not outrage. Not interruption. Just strength....

And if you are the President, imagine the power of opening your address by thanking your critics for being there.

Imagine saying, “To the Democrats in this chamber tonight, thank you for showing up. Thank you for listening. Even when we disagree.”

That would be powerful.

That would feel like leadership.

I think a lot of Americans are craving that more than we admit.

The Epstein Files...."I know a guy"

I think that I've come up with an option for our situation... The Epstein files being released...

Thousands of pages. Names. Flights. Connections. Redactions.

This isn’t a weekend read. This is a full-time commitment.

We need someone disciplined. Someone meticulous. Someone who doesn’t get distracted by status, wealth, or power.

I know a guy......His name is Mr. Morgan.

A man who understands patterns.
A man who respects process.
A man who believes loose ends are unacceptable.

There are a great deal of documents here and paperwork, but I do believe Mr. Morgan has the fortitude and focus to give them all his thorough attention and review.

Every page.

Every name.

Every detail.

Some problems require expertise....Thoughts?

This is why I love The Why Files and AJ's ability to connect to the viewer..

AJ explains division in a way that is honest, thoughtful, and oddly unifying.

When he says, “Every time you fight about politics online, you are being manipulated,” that lands.

Because it is not about left or right. It is about awareness.

In What Side Are You On – The Division of America, I referenced AJ’s series for exactly this reason. He models critical thinking. He looks at bold claims, controversial topics, and even conspiracy theories, and puts them under a microscope instead of reacting emotionally.

And he manages to do it with a talking fish reminding us that maybe bacon unites us after all.
