In my spare time I like to make blingy halters for my horses (makes it easier to tell who’s is who’s ) and for everyone that breeds to my guy. This one has probably been my favorite so far simple but cute🌼

Anyone that breeds horses ,owns, leases or trains; knows it costs more than money ( most of the time you spend more than you’ll ever make regardless especially in this economy ) but your life revolves around them at the end of the day . Everyday . Sometimes scarificing alot more than you’d ever think . Either way you have to be accountable for yourself .

Definitely not for the faint of heart either . I’ve came cross some of my best friends or just good people to have just met . Then people who think they’re entitled just because they dont get their way, the ones that try to pull fast ones over on you , but my favorite one is the “I’ll sue you but I’m the one in the wrong ” alot of people don’t realize thats one of my lines of actual work in the past before being a mom . All of it I’ll deal with because everything in life is a gamble . I mean you can’t make everyone happy but I try in every aspect in life . I will say I’ve gave more than I’ve received in life because I was raised to treat others as they do you .

My stallion standing to the public is a privilege not a right to anyone . This is a hobby to me not a necessity . I don’t have to stand him . I don’t want anything out of it. I’ve actually lost more doing it this past year . What makes it worth it is the foals I’ve seen make others happy to call theirs , the amazing people I’ve met . Just the all around love for the industry and my horses in general .

At the end of the day all you have is your word and thats the only thing besides your physical body you take to the grave . How you choose to use it and live is up to you .

Regardless this year my peace in life , family and protecting both are my biggest priority . D will still stand but limitedly this year and of course to anyone with current, past or shoot easy to work with mare owners are always welcome too.

Until breeding season riding , current foals and training will be most posts . Heres one of Brent Beck the other night . Gotta love when your dragged outside in 30 degrees after workimg all day but the pony ride made it worth it 😂💜

Raising horses is not for the faint of heart…..As breeders we don’t normally talk about the hard things in life that comes with owning and raising horses…
We normally won’t share how it feels to help your favourite horse through injury … finally get one in foal… only to loose your favourite broodmare to a torn intestine while carrying your hopes n dreams…have one abort or when one colics and you can’t save her and her unborn foal…
We don’t talk about getting ready for something important and dropping everything to assist our animals….. even in your dress clothes…. I have even had to miss Christmas supper over a mare with a serious injury to her hock…
We don’t talk about the tears shed when we have to put a foal down due to complications..when it hardly got a chance at life…
All the late night and early morning mare checks and sleep deprivation…

We don’t share the hard parts…. When we have done everything to try and save our equine partners and yet we still loose them…

We don’t talk about emergencies that only seem to happen on holidays and middle of the nights. When we know vets are with their family’s or asleep. . ( so grateful for our vets❤️)

So when you see cute baby pictures in the spring , foals playing in the pastures. Just know there’s a lot that we don’t talk about that happened long before we could share those happy moments with you….❤️

Life withbhorses isnt always easy…. But for me it is always worth it❤️🙏❤️

❤️Update for those of you new to my page and asking about this foal with he heart❤️

Skye was born on my sons birthday ( after my son had passed away unexpectedly) my son used to make heart shapes for me when he cooked my food or even unloaded my square bales…. So I know this was a sign from my son letting me know he is still near ❤️
