Lauderhill, FL – In a spirited episode of Lauderhill TV, host Millissa Jayne caught up with Pastor Marlon from Grace Christian Family Church, where Thursday nights have transformed into a weekly tradition of fitness and fellowship through the fast-growing sport of pickleball.

Held at Veterans Park, 7600 NW 50th St, Lauderhill, FL 33351, the free open-play sessions run every Thursday from 7:00 PM to 8:45 PM and are open to all ages and skill levels.

“We’re not here for gold medals,” said Pastor Marlon. “We’re here for the fun, the sun, and enjoying each other.”

Grace Christian Family Church, located at 3800 Inverrary Blvd, Suite 107, is a vibrant congregation dedicated to “doing life together.” In addition to pickleball, they host Sunday services at 9 AM, hybrid Bible studies on Mondays, young adult meetups, and “Refresh”—a monthly empowerment gathering for women held every fourth Saturday.

Lauderhill TV was at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for A & A Hair Potions, a new business specializing in hair braiding, located at 3800 Inverrary Blvd, Ste 408S in Lauderhill.

The event marked the official opening of this local beauty service, which offers expert braiding and aims to provide a specialized hair care experience for the community.
