FAKE TALENT AGENTS ARE OUT THERE*******

CMP/P LLC., recently received some inquiries about the defunct D.A.M.E. Talent Agency name. To clarify, this was never a professional agency. Years ago, the name was acquired by our previous studio solely as a protective measure. At that time, we had discovered that the faux agency had been operating in a questionable manner, and the step was taken simply to safeguard our local talent and ensure that no one else could misuse that name in the future.

Under Crazy Mountain Productions today, the name remains owned only as a protective measure. We do not operate it as a business, nor do we have any plans to do so. It was, and remains, purely about protecting our creative community.

Additionally, the original individual involved with that faux agency has no connection to us, never has. The rights to the name were purchased independently by one of our partners as a legal safeguard. That’s where the connection begins and ends.

We hope this clears up any confusion, and we appreciate your understanding.

P.S. It should also be noted that no talent agency or agent should ever require you to take their acting classes or use their photographers. These are often scams that appear all over the country to take advantage of people trying to break into the talent business. Furthermore, there is no actual union-acredited talent agency in the state of Montana—just a few mom-and-pop shops. So if you are considering working with an agent, please be aware of this fact.

Pre-production has reopened for a dramedy filming in Laurel, Montana—a light spin-off of LOCO—created to showcase local talent. No prior experience required; willingness to learn is essential. Roles may be adjusted for the right fit.
Please note: there will be several interns on set—patience and professionalism appreciated.

Casting:

Bartenders (Principal) — All ages
Male/Female

Local Regular Patrons (Principal/Supporting) — Various ages
Male/Female

Local comedians welcome: improv bits may be requested (with writing credit).

Male (18–25) — Boyfriend interest to a principal character; small-town athlete type

Male/female (18-25) -- local highschool types All welcome.

Female (25–45) — Comedic antagonist

Preference: Yellowstone County locals. Outside welcome but there will be no travel/lodging compensation.
Union Status: Non-union with possible change in additional seasons.
