Long before the AI craze, I’ve stressed the importance of doing the upfront work to define the business problem before buying the tool. Major consulting firms have been echnoing the sentiment, concluding goal clarity is one of the top reasons SMBs have lackluster results from expensive tech deployments.

So hopefully this helps my ... just pause and remember PRIDE. A quick and powerful way for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and business leaders of all sizes to get unstuck and make smarter tech decisions. Whether you’re a freelancer or enterprise exec, PRIDE works!

P — Problem (What’s the actual challenge? Be specific.)
R — Root Cause (What’s really causing it? Tech? Price? People? Do your homework.)
I — Impact (How is it affecting revenue, ops, or CX? Quantify the best you can.)
D — Decision Point (What needs to change? Is it tech? Positioning? Process? )
E — Ex*****on Plan (What actions can you take and how big of an undertaking is it?)

Do this exercise with your top three to five business problems one by one. Then prioritize in order of the least complex that stands to have the most impact first for an early win. Then keep going!

It's rare that I 'pile on' news stories, but Grok isn’t just underwhelming, it’s dangerous!

Not only is this dumpster fire of an AI tool tied to a lunatic who's never been a friend to our community, but no other GenAI platform at this scale has been so easily "tricked" into producing vile content this reckless, this fast.

X’s CEO couldn't bring most major advertisers back despite her deep connections. Nor fix profitability. Now she’s out just in time for yet another disgusting, entirely avoidable failure.

I hope with all this, the newly merged xAI goes as well as Kmart buying Sears did. Only faster.

The tech tools you use matter. They can impact your authority brand perception, retention, growth, and more. Choose wisely.
