Back in February of 2023 I had the amazing opportunity to record a few songs with Amplify DC. Recorded at Water Street Sound, producer and videographer LJR Creative brought this melancholy song to life.

Episode 373 features LJR (Luke Justin Roberts), a longtime friend of mine and a local DMV pop musician. He’s playing July 18 at PTR Fest at Fish Head Cantina at 530PM, so I wanted to bring him back on the show. He’s been on the podcast too many times to count and is the most regular guest we’ve ever had. He’s releasing new music, and I featured his latest track “Follow the Mother Home” which you can stream wherever you listen to music. In the episode, we talked about LJR creative (Luke’s video business), what it’s like being a frontman and solo musician, some local gossip about The Slang, Montana, and much more. Thanks for listening and supporting local music!

Big love to Brett Buehler for having me back on the Part Time Rockstar Podcast this month! Brett asked me to record some local harmonies and do drum tracks for his new song “Old Dive’s Tale” which was a blast. Listen to the full podcast below
