What’s the greatest commandment?
Who is my neighbor?
How often should I forgive?

That’s it. These are the only questions he answered, so what do we learn from how he replied?

My friends at invited me to preach Sunday night for Epiphany. Today’s episode, “Flickering Flames,” comes from what I shared with them this weekend about John 1:1-5 and lot of it came from sitting by this fire.

A couple of years ago, I came to a couple of friends with an idea to create an Advent series to help families prepare for Christmas a little differently, with a daily snippet of the story told by me, illustrated by Adam Trest and set to Thomas Steinwinderr's original music. It was fun to bring to life and if you haven't had the chance to walk through Advent with us yet, I wanted to share what it's like. Check out this preview!

It's more than an Advent Calendar. It's a chance to step outside of the hustle and bustle headed our way for at least a few minutes each day and think about what the season's all about.
