Sometimes the lessons we learn in life can be hard.
My son has been taking care of this baby bunny for a couple weeks. It was the runt and we could tell something wasn’t right but C**t named him “Edgar” and made sure he had some extra special treats and was fed daily. Unfortunately, Edgar passed away yesterday and my little dude was heartbroken but handled it so well. Just as a little farmer should.
I am so proud of the compassion and love he has for animals. ❤️ That’s what it’s about 🫶🏼

To most this looks like a plate of poached eggs over toast… to me it is a little piece of a place that doesn’t exist anymore.
My grandfather made the best poached eggs. Boil water, add eggs, cook for exactly 3 minutes, add little salt and pepper, and you have perfection.
It’s crazy how the little things, end up turning into big things as we get older as we grieve the things of the past. What I wouldn’t give to sit around that breakfast table with my grandparents just one more time.
