Continuing the story of the Holiday Album 2025 is Darrick Doleman. His original, "Must Be Christmas Time", features his son and daughter on background harmonies.

Darrick has been a student of Matthew Mulnix's for three years, and understands the benefit of the Scholarship Program at Americana Music Academy. Having him participate on the album is a joy that you'll feel through his song.

We’re featuring the next band to be performing/recording on 11.20 at the open mic live recording event!

 Upper Level Disturbance is a duo off shoot of long time local rock group The Global Warmers. Since 2006 Upper Level Disturbance has been performing acoustic guitar and mandolin renditions of their original music. Kelly Howell is a long time Lawrence songwriter and vocalist. Buck Brandt is a multi-instrumental songwriter involved in several local and regional bands.

Lawrence Songwriter Showcase Holiday Album 2025

GPS Fretworks and Lawrence Songwriter Showcase are proud to announce the 2025 Lawrence Songwriter Showcase Holiday Album. The charity compilation will feature original holiday themed compositions from local Lawrence musicians, all recorded at Sad Cowboy Recording Co. Beneficiaries of the album include the scholarship funds of both Americana Music Academy and Guitarma, so that deserving youth can access music education.


HOLIDAY ALBUM LIVE PERFORMANCE - SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14
A fundraiser concert featuring Holiday Album participants will take place on Sunday, December 14th, at 3 PM.

Performer list and presale tickets available Monday, November 3.
