In order to ensure Oklahoma's medical ma*****na industry is a fair and free market, the new state legislature needs to release all prisoners serving time for possession of the herb and expunge the offenses from their records. Until this happens, low-level drug offenders will remain disproportionately black, while cannabis business owners will remain disproportionately white.
"Anytime we have a tornado or a big storm, everyone drops what they're doing to come help. We hear so many negative things about Oklahoma. But if you live here and talk to people from here, they're some of the kindest people ever. You just have to remind them of some things that maybe don't make sense to them. You have to remind them that Oklahoma used to be the strongest socialist state in the union. You have to remind them that we can have wind turbines out west. We can have solar panels all over the state. And we can have an economy that makes sure every Oklahoman gets to live a nice life."
