****update!

Even more participants and vendors are coming together to make this first ever event at Benbrook Skatepark a real success! Benbrook Skatepark has been around a long time and there has never been a real skate event there. It’s long due for Leander skateboarding to show up!

Vendor booths are free! Artists, face painters, games, etc are welcome. We need prize and money sponsors! Any food vendor are welcome, just go to the city for a food permit that day. I can tell you how.

We will not be having classes that day at The Skate Gym. Instead, we will be having a free skate clinic that morning starting at 10:00 am until competition warm up at 1:00. The competition will be AMs only. No sponsored pros.

Competition starts at 1:30. Kids first, then quads, teens, adults, and geriatrics (40+).

Last, we will have board company team pro demos!

This Friday 7/25 we will be hosting a skate and paint night! $10 covers canvas, paints, and open skate! Keep your painting or put it in the wall here for display! Dm here to RSVP so I know how many canvases to buy!

Some of the girls have skilled out of beginners class so we started a level 2 class! Abby, Allie, Hazel, and Sidney are ripping!

To be on level 2 team you mush meet the following:
- be able to pump solo on the halfpipe,
- drop in,
- rock to fakie and/or tail taps
- running push starts
- learning Ollies

August 16, 2025 The Skate Gym (TSG Skateboarding) is excited to have a booth to be a vendor and clinic at the Back to School Bash for the WCCAC (Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center. The WCCAC is a non-profit since 1997 providing a welcoming, child-friendly, and safe place for children and their families to share their experiences of abuse. Their Mission: “We envision a community where children can grow up safe and free from abuse.”
