One of the best parts of the season is enjoying a good meal out with family and friends, and when it comes to festive food and cocktails in Central PA, Funck's Restaurant never misses! ❄️🍽️

Before heading out in the Hershey area, we stopped in for dinner and tried a delicious variety of winter menu specials and a few go-to favorites:

☕ Espresso Martini – fresh espresso, Holla vanilla vodka, Kahlúa
🥃 Smoked Maple Old Fashioned – Elijah Craig, maple syrup, bitters
🍕 Soppressata Flatbread – Italian pork, burrata, marinara, parmesan basil
🦞 Lobster Rice Bowl – lobster, shrimp, rice, slaw, queso fresco, pickled onion, roasted corn salsa
🍰 Sugar Cookie Cheesecake – festive, sweet, and the perfect way to end our meal

If you’re looking for restaurants near Hershey with creative seasonal dishes and handcrafted cocktails, Funck's Restaurant is always worth a visit 👏🏻 Bonus: Happy Hour daily from 4–6 PM!

Winter drinks done right at Cool Beans Brew ☕❄️

Sunday mornings in Myerstown = coffee runs to our favorite local truck 🚚 We’ve been excited to try their winter drink lineup, and every sip was worth it!

Here’s what we grabbed from the seasonal menu:
🍪 Biscoff Cold Brew – cookie butter, shortbread cold foam & crushed Biscoff topping
🍭 Sugar Cookie Cold Brew – cupcake syrup + shortbread vanilla cold foam
🍊 Cranberry Crush Refresher – cranberry, orange & cream
🍫 Peppermint Frappe – peppermint frozen hot chocolate topped with whipped cream & candy cane pieces

Each one was so creative and delicious in its own way! If you're in Central PA and love festive coffee, handcrafted refreshers, or coffee truck finds, you need to track down Cool Beans Brew. They post their weekly schedule on IG & Facebook, so you always know where to find them!

A hidden gem inside Alden Villa, Alden Press Coffee Shop is one of the most charming spots in Cornwall, PA. ✨

Alden Press Coffee Shop is officially my new favorite spot for coffee and pastries. The stunning architecture of Millwood Mansion, the cozy atmosphere, and the beautifully decorated space make this place feel so special ☕️💛

We tried the Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Coffee, S’mores Latte, S’mores Chocolate Chip Cookie, and a cream cheese stuffed cinnamon muffin. Everything was delicious! 😋

They also have a combo deal on their weekly special where you can get a coffee and a pastry for $9!! 🙌🏻

If you’re local to the Lebanon area or love exploring local coffee shops, you’ll want to check this one out. Open Friday 8 AM–4 PM and Saturday 8 AM–1 PM.

Fall comfort food hits different at 🍂🍻
 Their Snitztoberfest menu was full of seasonal favorites that made it hard to choose just one 😋

✨ From the Oktoberfest Menu: 🥔 Biergarten Bites – tater tots stuffed with bacon & cheddar, served with ranch 🍕 Snitztoberfest Pizza – gouda, parmesan, mustard cream, apple bacon sauerkraut, cheddar bratwurst & Snitz Creek Ale 🥃 Maple Cinnamon Old Fashioned – cinnamon-infused bourbon, maple syrup & bitters ☕ Pumpkin Espresso Martini – pumpkin vodka, Midstate coffee liqueur & fresh espresso

I love visiting Funck's Restaurant Leola.PA for their cool vibes and beautiful ambiance ✨ It’s the perfect place to eat on the patio in the summertime 🌞🍽️

🥑 Al Pastor Nachos: roasted pork, pineapple salsa, beer cheese, pickled onions, queso fresco
🍝 Lobster Homard Spaghetti: lobster, shrimp, tomato sauce, sherry, boursin, spaghetti, micro greens, grilled baguette

🌞 Patio Season is H E R E! 🌞

Outdoor dining is finally in full swing, and I’m here for it! We enjoyed a meal on the cozy, covered patio at Room 101 the Med in Annville, PA, and enjoyed their new spring/summer menu 🤌🏻🍴

Appetizers:
• Focaccia & Whipped Cheese 🧀
• Beet Salad 🥗

Entrees:
• Steak Pizza 🍕
• Fettuccine with Seafood 🍝

Dessert:
• Panna Cotta 🍮

Finally, a B E A U T I F U L weekend day which calls for Sunday brunch ☀️🍾🍳

A favorite of mine in the Philly area is Rosalie Wayne🌹 A stunning environment + fantastic food, making for the perfect brunch outing.

🍹 Breaky Cocktails: espresso martini, mimosa, bloody mary
🥞🍕 Breakfast Bites:
•French toast - whipped ricotta, seasonal fruit, preserves, hazelnut butter
•Egg in a hole - house-made brioche, smoked salmon, whipped crème fraiche, red onion, capers
•Formaggi - local and Italian cheese, brioche
•Breakfast bread - amaro cake, croissant, zucchini bread (recommend sharing the formaggi & breakfast bread as an app for the group)
•Carne pizza - veal porchetta, fennel sausage pepperoni, mozzarella, pickled peppers, tomato
