An update for our MidVid viewers:

Following the technical issues that disrupted our livestreams over two of the past three weeks, MidVid and Carter Media management met directly with leadership at Hudl to address the problem.

Hudl informed us that the underlying issues have been identified and resolved, and viewers should experience normal, seamless access to this Friday night’s football broadcasts.

We are moving forward with our Hudl partnership under the expectation that these platform problems are fully behind us. However, if technical issues persist, MidVid is fully prepared to transition to an alternative hosting platform.

A BLAZE BROKE OUT ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON AT THE MCDONALD’S RESTAURANT AT 850 SOUTH JEFFERSON IN LEBANON THAT GUTTED THE STRUCTURE. FIRE CREWS RESPONDED JUST AFTER 4 P.M. UPON ARRIVAL, THEY COULD ONLY SEE LIGHT SMOKE COMING FROM THE STRUCTURE. ONCE CREWS BROKE INTO THE FALSE CEILING THEY FOUND SIGNIFICANT FLAMES. CREWS TRIED TO FIGHT THE FIRE FROM INSIDE THE RESTAURANT, BUT HAD TO MOVE OUTSIDE TO ATTACK THE FIRE. CREWS BATTLED THE BLAZE FOR SEVERAL HOURS, BUT THE BUILDING IS A TOTAL LOSS. THE FIRE APPEARS TO HAVE STARTED IN THE KITCHEN AREA. THE STATE FIRE MARSHAL’S OFFICE HAS RULED THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE AS UNDETERMINED DUE TO TWO POTENTIAL ACCIDENTAL CAUSES. ALL CUSTOMERS MADE IT OUT OF THE STORE UNHARMED, AND NO FIREFIGHTERS WERE INJURED WHILE FIGHTING THE FIRE. LEBANON FIRE CREWS RECEIVED ASSISTANCE FROM SEVERAL AREA DEPARTMENTS. THE SOUTH JEFFERSON MCDONALD’S OPENED IN LEBANON IN 1979.
