Not much precip in the forecast over the next 2 weeks. Your apps are making it look like it will be a wet weekend but I’m not seeing it outside of a few showers here and there but certainly no washout and mostly dry.

The name may be cute but Typhoon Tino did a tremendous amount of damage to Cebu city with unpreceded damage. I have some co-workers living there. The Flooding videos i saw were crazy.

Lunch with the Euro. While the cold shot will be impressive next week. Its not the beginning of true winter. In fact, there should be another warmer period before Thanksgiving. See, i dont always just show the cold/snowy maps!

The Arctic(yes its coming from the arctic) Blast next week is the kind of air mass you would need to get a Veterans day snowstorm again for the DC area. The only problem is.....there is no storm associated with this :(. I think we can squeeze out flurries but this wont be a a repeat of 1987. Sorry. Much different story though for Deep Creek Lake/Tucker County, Wv etc but those areas are much more a New England climate than Mid Atlantic and they dont need a "storm system" to get snow

If you like seeing Christmas lights and snow… this may be your winter. Things are lining up for a fast start. However, it does not mean we will get a great winter. I have seen several fast starting winters collapse.

Lunch with the euro. The first snowfall map of the season that actually has some legs. Snow in the the blessed areas of Far Western Maryland and West Virginia and maybe a snow shower or conversational flakes for us. This would be for early next week. The Washington Football team is done but Winter is just getting started.

Come track winter weather on my Patreon site this winter. Focus will be trying to find windows for weather weather chances, live model play by play action (IE when Dr No runs at 12:30 in the morning:) and seeing some really cool animations and model maps that i really cant do here. There are still signs that we may see a robust start to winter.

How are we feeling this morning.? Last night felt like Dan Snyder never left lol. I wonder what major change they will make. Daniels could miss the rest of the season but he will be healthy for the offseason. We need a coach that wont allow him to keep getting hit

Still looking at early next week for the most impressive cold shot of the season and our first conversational flakes perhaps

Lunch with the Euro. Whats up with November 11ths??. 12z Euro has us with a high of 39. We need to watch Nov 8-12 for snow in the mountains and maybe our first flake as a brief trough will setup shop in the east most likely. It will warm(mild) after though.
