Early voting/mail-in voting will start Feb 5. Please keep this in mind while voting.

If you mail in your ballot do it right away once you receive it as ALL mail is NOT postmarked at YOUR LOCAL post office anymore but at the sorting center so 1. it slows mail down 2. your mail will not be postmarked until days later thus if mailing the ballot just days before the election, it will not get to the county clerks office in time with the correct date on it and your ballot with NOT be valid. 3. when voting write-in candidate names ARE NOT INCLUDED, you will have to look those up yourself on the county clerks website.

After observing the local political scene in NW Illinois this fall we have observed that BOTH Republicans and Democrats have had it with our local IL State Senator Chesney and his maga views. He has NOT brought jobs and prosperity to this area and his radical right winged agenda is viewed not to go along with his 'conservative family values' nor anyone else's.

GIVEN THESE FACTS THIS PAGE ENDORSES JOSHUA T. AKTINSON for IL State Senate District 45.

Joshua has now been forced by the Chesney group and the $85,000 dollars Chesney spent to get him off the ballot to be a WRITE-IN candidate.

However you vote (early, day of or by mail) in this primary no matter which party you identify with ask for a REPUBLICAN ballot and write in JOSHUA T. ATKINSON (must be spelled correctly)

This is a way to get Chesney off the ballot from the beginning. Then in November, just vote for your choice of candidate. Parties have been doing this for years. It's time to vote smarter for the wellbeing of the US citizens of NW Illinois.
