No rain threat to the track shown on the radar. & the should be good till the end.

8 PM CDT update - Stage 1 competition caution

76°F, 94% humidity, light winds

Looks like a nice sunset there. Watching a cluster of storms 30-35 miles WNW, moving SE 20-25 mph.

It *should* avoid the track. I’ll continue to monitor it

Rain has moved out of the area; Sun is peeking out but watching another cluster of storms 40 miles WNW, moving SSE AR 15-20 mph.

We watch the radar, so you can watch the race.

It *should* stay south of the track. I’ll continue for possible additional development.

Rain has moved out of the area; Sun is peeking out but watching another cluster of storms 30-35 miles WNW, moving 15-20 mph.

It *should* stay south of the track but I’ll continue to monitor the weather.

Risk for fog after 10 PM CT

Light to moderate rain moving across the track, could last about 5-10 minutes. Track drying will be needed.

Additional isolated showers persist in the area, but this should be the last of the rain.

6 PM CDT update - 80°F, feels like 84°F, NW winds, 12 mph with occasional gusts

Light to moderate rain moving across the track, could last about 10-20 minutes. Some track drying will be needed after this shower.

Rain chances drop after 8 pm CT. There is also a risk for fog after 10 PM CT.

5:20 PM CDT update - 86°F, feels like 89°F, Light northerly winds

Cup GF 🟩 is scheduled for 6:20 PM CT

Strong thunderstorms abt 8-10 miles from the track, moving 10-15 mph. Could be getting close to an at-track pause due to lightning.

Rain chances drop after 8 pm CT. There is also a risk for fog after 10 PM CT.
