Hazel was cleared to come home! So we packed up and drove home today. I love having all three of my kiddos in the same room. (The first time since February). Next step is labs at Roswell next week and chemo round 2 the following week.

Little bean is doing better and was discharged from the hospital today! We’re soaking in all the smiles until chemo round two starts next week.

She is resting well after a scary night. Hazel suffered severe abdominal pain, we suspect it might be related to her feeding tube. She has been moved from the emergency room back to 7B at UPMC. Hopes for an early June homecoming have been dashed, but this is the best place for her. Please pray the medical staff figures out her belly issues and makes her strong enough for chemo dose 2/3, which is in only 9 days.

Today is 12 weeks since her transplant and 2 weeks that sweet girl has been out of the hospital. She is getting so much stronger each day. So far her blood work has all been looking good. She has follow ups with her transplant and oncology teams this week. Hopefully all is well and we can finally go home. 🤞🏼

Thank you so much to everyone who worked hard to put the chicken bbq fundraiser together for Hazel. We appreciate everything that you did for our sweet girl. And thank you to everyone who came out to support her (and us). ❤️❤️

Ready for her last dose of round 1. Yesterday went pretty well, hoping today is not too rough on her!
