Girly bean has now been tubie free for over two weeks now. She’s been trying new foods and learning move around better. We’ve started doing some low risk outtings and enjoying some “normal”.

Tonight we were able to enjoy a wonderful family night at sunflowers of Sanborn thanks to Sophia the Fierce. We enjoyed listening to music from Cami Clune and visiting with a couple of our favorite nurses. 🌻

Sweet Hazel’s first morning with no tubes! Nothing taped to her face and bridled to her nose! No flushing and cleaning every 12 hours! She seems to be enjoying the feeling as she has some fruit bars and yogurt.

One we get that bandage off the broviac site it is bath time!

Girly did great. Both tubes are out and she’s getting lots of snuggles in. 🥰

Please keep Hazel in your prayers this morning as she goes under anesthesia to have her tubes removed. She is in high spirits and I’m sure looking forward to finally having a real bath!

Three more days until girly is free from her tubies! Saying lots of prayers for a smooth surgery and an easy recovery for her! ❤️

Sweet girl has had a busy week, but she seemed to handle this round of chemo very well. She only needed one blood transfusion and one platelet transfusion and didn’t seem to get too sick. She had a CT yesterday, the report looks good we haven’t spoken to her doctor yet to confirm. Next week she will have surgery to remove her feeding tube and her central line.

We are excited to share that our friends at Kahuna Koatings Inc. have chosen a winner of the Dream Room Makeover Contest!

Baby Hazel of Lewiston who has been battling cancer for her first year of life is this year's winner.

Kahuna Koatings will be stopping by Baby Hazel's house next week to meet her and her family.

We might also have a surprise in the contest and we will let you know when we do soon!

Baby Hazel was diagnosed with a liver tumor at 10 weeks old. Her first year she received 8 rounds of chemo and a liver transplant. She has fought so hard her first year, a room makeover for her would make a special place for her to enjoy as she grows.

Congratulations Baby Hazel! You are loved!

Sweet girl made her counts so she will be starting her LAST round of chemo today. We’re hoping it’s not too rough on her and she’s able to recover quickly ❤️

And she’s down to 14 hours of feeds in her tube from 22 hours and maintaining her weight! She will go for scans in a few weeks to make sure the cancer is gone and then hopefully have her tubes removed shortly after.

Little girl is on the move. She is crawling like crazy now…which is not easy with the feeding pump attached. Tomorrow she will have blood work done to see when they can start her LAST round of chemo.
