How can storytelling close the gender gap?
If we are to work toward a more equal and just society, it is crucial that we examine the role of storytelling in closing the gender gap.
The importance of storytelling is visible in moments of history but, equally noticeable is the lack of stories about women in that history.
Stories have the power to shape our beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors, and they can also either reinforce, or challenge, gender stereotypes and norms. We can help to counteract the insidious effects of gender bias and discrimination by deliberately creating and amplifying stories showcasing women's experiences and contributions: highlighting , how women have been leading communities for centuries, building businesses and, even when forced to remain invisible, influencing our politics.
Through storytelling, we can also identify the struggles and triumphs of women and girls, drawing attention to the challenges they have faced and inspiring others to join the fight for gender equality. By then sharing these stories, we will create a collective vision of a world in which women and girls are valued and respected, and in which they have equal opportunities and access to resources.
In conclusion, let’s embrace the power of storytelling as a tool for change. Let us tell the stories of women and girls, and let us work together to create a world in which gender equality is a reality for all.
Tell us/me more about your story?

How can more women step into leadership? Why is it still so difficult for women to be leaders? And how can we change this?

What does it mean to be a mother? And how can you enjoy motherhood without falling victim to social pressure? And yes, we are using the word victim for a reason.
〰 Why? Because so many women imagined something else when they were looking forward to being a mother.
➼ Instead, many of us find ourselves without support
➼ Constant pressure to be perfect and do it all
➼ Lack of understanding
➼ And social pressure to have more children, but not maternity leave
➼ or support in having a career and a joyful motherhood experience.
〰 So, what can we do?
SPEAK UP! TELL YOUR STORY! WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE IF YOU COULD HELP WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD TO HAVE A MORE CONTENT EXPERIENCE OF WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A MOTHER?

How many names of women cross your mind when you think of history? How many female politicians can you name when speaking about significant lawmakers? How many women do you see in media that have created successful businesses?
Our guess is not too many. But that's not because there are not enough significant women around us. It is because we don't talk about them often enough. Or, more specifically, because the media doesn't talk about them often enough.
We are here to change this.
NAME THEM! SPEAK ABOUT THEM! TAG THEM!🎆🚀💫

What is the biggest obstacle in your life? Could it be that your thoughts are what is holding you back from moving forward? Or maybe the words that you are using? Is your mind creating stories that can be changed?
Let us know in the comments!
This is how you know that you are experiencing burnout:
➡It often feels like you have nothing left to give
➡and may dread getting out of bed every morning
➡You may even adopt a pessimistic outlook toward life & feel hopeless.
➡ Falling asleep might be tricky, which can present the biggest obstacle.
Unfortunately high-achievers tend to develop burnout if they don’t have strong boundaries in place.
Getting time away from everything is the number 1 way to get your nervous system to relax and help you regain your strength and mental capacity.

↪️14 incredible women and their stories of power!
It is finally here!
The Ziva Way platform has now grown into an online Bookazine. The network of collaborators organically grew into women supporting other women creating a community. All this could only be possible thanks to the valuable content created by its valuable members and collaborators.
What started as an idea quickly took form as I received the first article contribution on November 24th and started working on the Bookazine on December 7th.
Today is January 17th, and we just launched the first issue of The Ziva Way Bookazine. And here is a little bit of what the 100 pages look like.
I can't stop smiling because I am still in disbelief about how fast this has come together and HOW AMAZING THE CONTRIBUTORS are.
Thank you to Adina Tatum, Wren Blae Zimmerman, Antonia Semanskee, Kim Normand Dobrin, Connie P. Milligan, Heather Parady, Merel van der Wouden (LL.M), Kendra Williams, Chengetai Chikadaya, Renée Warren, Deb Coviello, Tessa Leenders, Lilly Han, and Ali CPCC, ACC, for your contribution and support.
The result is the first issue of the Ziva Way Bookazine:
More women are building successful communities and businesses every day. They are shifting their mindset, using their leadership skills, mobilizing communities, and turning a small business into an empire.
In the Ziva Way, we bring forth stories of experience and inspiration to highlight ways in which you can learn how to shift your mindset, change your habits, learn new skills, build your confidence, and learn to speak up.
When we hear the stories of other women - overcoming the pain, social obstacles, and self-doubt - it can become easier to understand that you have all it takes to make the next move, be the person that creates change, and feel connected and empowered.
