It’s been an incredible two years booking talent, and while we love the energy artists bring, we’ve learned a few things too! Sometimes, events unfold in ways that leave us scratching our heads.

Take Episode 1: A band arrived over two hours early for their set. While eagerness is great, it can throw off a venue's flow. Then, presumably due to inexperience with their own sound system, they ended up starting 30 minutes late.

Then there was Episode 2: We booked an act, but a different one showed up. And unfortunately, that wasn't the only surprise – the performance wasn't up to standard, and we had to end it an hour early. This was clearly a ball dropped by the band's management.

To all artists and bands: please learn from these experiences. Landing shows is already incredibly tough, and first impressions are huge. Your reputation is even bigger. Always strive for professionalism.
