HCJ Makes Transition to Magazine!

The past two months have months have been incredible, and we sincerely appreciate all of our readers, social media followers, and advertising customers.

After reviewing your feedback, we have realized that the most popular pieces of our content are related to our feature stories, columns, sports, and community event coverage. By making the transition from a typical newspaper to a premium quality, community magazine, we will have more time to completely focus on the things that are important to you.

The new product will include all of our very popular feature story categories such as "Hometown Heroes", "American Made", and "More to the Game". All of our editorial columns will still be included, as well as some additional seasonal content. We will not, however, be covering a traditional news beat. We always welcome feedback and content suggestions from our readers!

We will have a snapshot of various sports teams that are in action each month. Sport stories will be complete with player interviews, along with action shots that are simply unmatched in quality.

Also, by popular demand we will be offering convenient home delivery for only $20 a year. Magazines will still be available in stores and online.

In order to allow time for us to make the necessary preparations for this improvement, we have scheduled our first magazine edition for the third week of July. Next week, June 7th will be the final weekly newspaper edition. We will continue to operate under the same name, Henderson County Journal.

Call today to subscribe or ask about our premium advertising placement (i.e. front or back covers with a glossy finish)!
