DeAnn Stephens is a two-time CMA Award Winner for 'Broadcast Personality of the Year' and is the better half of the 'Officer Don & DeAnn' duo on 98-1 The Bull! Stephens started her broadcasting career in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky where she was a general assignment reporter and Anchor at the Mountain station in Hazard. After a couple of years there, she landed a position at the CBS affiliat
e in Lexington, where she started as a morning reporter. Quickly, Stephens moved into the anchor chair, and at some point, ended up anchoring every newscast the station put on the air. After 13 years in television, Stephens decided it was time for a change. She joined 98.1 The Bull in the Spring of 2008 as Host of the Morning Show! DeAnn and her co-host, Officer Don, won the coveted CMA 'Broadcast Personality of the Year' award in 2017 and in 2020! They've also been nominated twice more for this award by the Country Music Association!
