I know we’re pretty quiet over here as we’re stuck muddling in our normal daily lives, but I just noticed that we’re almost to 800 followers, which completely blows my mind!!!

Help Sleeper out while investigating!! Such an amazing place but you know how it gets in the summer in KS…. They need their AC!

Hello Everyone!
I am going to be honest here, our HVAC system is on it's last leg, which was not an anticipated problem. The most recent quote is $27,000 to replace the units that temperature control the upstairs (living quarters). We are not asking for donations, we just simply need business. Booking an overnight stay helps more than anything. We may be able to limp it through for the summer however, if it fails, it will take away the air conditioning. The problem is that the units are so old that they no longer make parts for them so I can't replace them when they break. One unit, as some groups have found out, leaks water although I think I might have that issue temporarily resolved. I was going to finance it however financing companies don't finance to buildings owned by LLC's, which is me. Currently, all money goes to paying the bills and keeping the doors open..which is fine however, I would love to maintain the temperature control for you guys as well. I did test the air condition over the weekend and it appears that it is working so far. If any of you have HVAC companies that are willing to finance to LLC's, I am definitely open to that option so please reach out.

If you've ever thought about visiting, investigating, or just experiencing the building for yourself, now is the time. Your visit truly makes a difference. As the new kid on the block, I appreciate all of the love, support, and visits we have had this far.
