We are saddened to relay the news of the passing of long time library senior volunteer, Edith Andrews. Edith passed away on Saturday, October 10th, 2020 at the age of 91.

For over eight years Edith volunteered for the Lincoln Park Public Library in many capacities. She was a tireless worker and took her tasks seriously…even to the point of walking the 3 mile round trip from her home, often twice a day! Edith truly loved the library and being a part of the “staff” here. We will very much miss her hard work and her spunky nature. Our thoughts are with her son Michael and the rest of her family.

The library will be hosting a celebration of her life on Sunday, October 25th at 3 pm in the library program room.
