It's already started and you need to hear this.

As the owner of dozens of domains and several websites, our hosting supplier is Netfirms, originally a Canadian company and we regularly rely on their customer support.

I called them yesterday and they no longer offer phone support, it's all online chats, bots, and a human if you make it that far.

Today I reached out to our cell provider, FIDO, and they too no longer offer customer support.

Why?

It's part of the AI revolution.

I don't mind chat support but as a busy executive, I don't have time to wait around for a chat. Once you get to a human (and sometimes they make it so difficult that you give up), they are usually engaged in multiple chats at once and you have to wait around forever for a response and sometimes that little bell that informs you they responded just doesn't work.
