The Lin-Wood High School yearbook is now on sale. Until September 15th, the yearbook is $40 dollars and you can get up to 4 icons for free. This is normally a 10 dollar fee.

Make sure to act now and get those orders in. You can order online using a credit card at: https://www.jostens.com/apps/store/customer/1058087/Lin-Wood-High-School/

Or you can bring checks made out to: Lin-Wood Yearbook to Mr. Adams.

Good Morning Lin-Wood.

It is the start of a new school year. Mr. Adams is back!

With that being said, the Kanc Connection is in a rebuilding year. The class has been merged with the Graphic Design class so there will be a number of projects that will need to get done in this class. The major project being the creation of the 2023-2024 yearbook.

The video projects you see will be here and there as we are able to create what content we can. It is always our goal to create live television programming where we bring you the latest news and events from our community.

Meanwhile, we want to see your back to school photos. If you would like to submit them to the yearbook staff for potential use in the yearbook, please click on the link below.

You can use this link throughout the school year to send us photos to use in the yearbook. We appreciate your help in telling a great story of this academic year.

Just like that 5 years goes by.

This is Mr. Adams....today I present to you the final episode of the Kanc Connection under my advisement. If you haven't heard, at the end of this school year, I am relocating to southern, New Hampshire for another teaching opportunity. This move is bittersweet but it is time for me to leave the comforts of northern New Hampshire and try something new.

I want to thank the community for supporting me and my students over the past few years. My goal was for my students to tell stories and present the news through the visual medium. I hope you have enjoyed what we were able to present to you on a regular basis.

But enough about me, here is the last episode. Please enjoy.

I'm a little late in posting this...but here is our show from this week.

Please note, with the addition of block scheduling this year...we decided to move our shows to Wednesdays around 10 am.

Happy Friday everyone.

This is your final call for yearbooks at the discounted price of $40 with free personalization.

They have been selling fast (faster than any other year I've been here at Lin-Wood) so you should definitely secure yours early.

Since 50 yearbooks costs around $4000 to print, I only order that many. Sometimes I get some over runs and can sell those but they are not guaranteed.

As of right now, I have sold 28 yearbooks....leaving only a guaranteed 22 left to sell.

If you order yours now...then I can justify ordering more books making more available at the end of the year.

To conclude: if you want to order one at the early bird price of $40 with free personalization, you must email me by Sunday. Let me know how many books you would like and and for whom (student name) and I will secure you a copy. You can send payment to school next week (check made out to Lin-Wood Yearbook). I will also take cash.

On Monday you can order them at the regular price online at www.jostens.com.

Additionally, my yearbook staff have begun visiting businesses in hopes of selling business advertisements. These ads carry the costs of the books as the books only make up 1/4 of the final printing cost.

If you are a new business in town or haven't been a part of our yearbook in some time and would like to do so, send me an email and I will have a member of the team stop in and see you.
