Election is about a week away. We must know and remember.

“Fellow-citizens, we cannot escape history. We of this Congress and this administration, will be remembered in spite of ourselves. No personal significance, or insignificance, can spare one or another of us. The fiery trial through which we pass, will light us down, in honor or dishonor, to the latest generation. We say we are for the Union. The world will not forget that we say this. We know how to save the Union. The world knows we do know how to save it. We — even we here — hold the power, and bear the responsibility. In giving freedom to the slave, we assure freedom to the free — honorable alike in what we give, and what we preserve. We shall nobly save, or meanly lose, the last best hope of earth. Other means may succeed; this could not fail. The way is plain, peaceful, generous, just — a way which, if followed, the world will forever applaud, and God must forever bless.” – Abraham Lincoln

Review of my book, Insurgents, by Readers Favorite website.

Political thrillers such as this book live and die on their pacing and depth, something that Stephen Payseur is able to deliver in spades page after page. An exciting and constantly evolving story populated by dynamic and fully fleshed out characters, each of whom leaped from the page as a unique individual thanks to the prose which paints such vivid pictures of these people and the world they live in so that the whole adventure feels unnervingly close to reality. In addition to the challenge of spinning a complex yet engaging political intrigue, Insurgents sets itself the ambitious goal of laying the groundwork for future installments whilst feeling like a complete and whole story in and of itself. This is again something that the author accomplishes well, with an ending that left me excited for future installments but satisfied that the first story in the series also stood well on its own.

Another great review on Amazon of my book, Rebellion. I waited months for the conclusion of the series and was not at all disappointed! Even though each of Payseur's series can easily stand individually, this was indeed the perfect climax. After seeing some 60 Minute broadcasts about the Havana Syndrome, Payseur's work providing chilling input as to what we may be, or already, are facing. (Need to know more? Get the books!). Want good reads? Get the 3 "episode series Very engaging, entertaining, and eerie!

Latest review of Insurgents.
The book opened by mentioning a city less than fifty miles from my home in the first sentence, so I was immediately drawn in. By the first few chapters I was really wondering whether this should be considered fiction or non-fiction. The events depicted reflect either real world historical events or those that could easily be real world. Character development is strong, as are the settings. Insurgents drove me to read Resistance immediately afterward.

New review of my latest book, Rebellion.

"Insurgents and Resistance were full of action and suspense which all comes to a head in Rebellion. Although this is a work of fiction, it could easily become a real-world headliner at any time in the emotionally charged and divided nation that we live in...or perhaps it's happening now and we simply aren't aware of it yet! Well done, Mr. Payseur, well done!"

"Rebellion." United by love and a shared Rebellion

In the heart-pounding conclusion to the trilogy that began with "Insurgents," Cameron and Sterling's epic journey against private militias and the forces threatening democracy, started in earnest in “Resistance” and reaches its commitment to justice, the duo faces their greatest challenge yet as the shadow of dictatorship looms large over the nation.

Throughout their perilous mission, Cameron and Sterling found strength in three enigmatic cyber allies—Justaguy, Oldman, and Roger. Despite never meeting in person, these virtual comrades joined forces, driven by a common goal to thwart the rising tide of tyranny. As the militias regroup and launch relentless assaults on American values, the stakes skyrocket, leaving the fate of democracy hanging in the balance.

In this final installment, "Rebellion," the battle-tested heroes refuse to be passive victims any longer. The time has come for the resistance to fight back. With the alliances forged in the digital realm now converging into a formidable force, the line between online and offline activism blurs. As the good guys unite to confront the militias head-on, the clash between ideologies unfolds in a breathtaking crescendo.

In a race against time, Cameron, Sterling, and their cyber allies embark on a daring mission to reclaim the future they envision. "Rebellion" is a thrilling conclusion that explores the resilience of unity, the power of hope, and the indomitable spirit of those who refuse to surrender. Brace yourself for a finale that will leave you on the edge of your seat, as the forces of good rise up to defy the encroaching darkness and ignite a rebellion that will echo through the annals of history.

Hi Steve, I just finished Insurgents and really enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to the next installment. You did a lot of research or maybe you know a lot about the IT stuff. I like the way you alternated between the 4 characters. Also, I wondered if you own this wonderful cabin of Cam’s. Good Luck and keep writing.

My friend has written a fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat political/cyber thriller that is especially timely as we consider recent events. This definitely should be on your list of must reads in the near future. Be sure to order your copy from Amazon, they will also make fantastic Christmas gifts!
