CASTING NOTICE: "The Proctor" – Feature Film - LONG ISLAND

Project Description:
id Unleashed Productions is excited to announce casting for "The Proctor", a full-length feature film set to shoot on Long Island from June through September 2025. This modern-day comedy-drama is a throwback to the iconic teen films of the 1980s, reimagined for modern day—think "John Hughes Meets Gen Z."
Casting Details:
We are seeking talented actors for a variety of LEAD and SUPPORTING roles (Specific role breakdown below):
* High School Seniors: Multiple roles available. Open to actors of any age who can convincingly pass as 17-18-year-old students. We’re looking for diverse, authentic personalities.
* Faculty/Staff: Several roles for older characters, including teachers, administrators, and support staff. Ages 30+ preferred, with a knack for dry humor.
This is a non-union production with no pay, but meals will be provided on set. Filming will take place on Long Island, NY, with a schedule spanning June to September 2025.
Submission Requirements:
* Headshots: A simple, unfiltered photograph that reflects how you’ll look on set. No over-glamorized, heavily edited, or filtered images, please—just the real you.
* Video Submission: A short, naturalistic-style scene or monologue (1-3 minutes). Show us your ability to embody a character authentically.

Deadline: Submissions are due by March 14, 2025. Early submissions are encouraged.

Lead: Dr. Payne, 60s (31 in flashback), no-nonsense, old-school type (think somewhere between Ed Rooney in Ferris Bueller and Mr. Woodman in Welcome Back, Kotter). (Male, any ethnicity).
Lead: Abigail Anders, 17, fierce social justice warrior who sees oppression everywhere. (Female, Caucasian).
Lead: Logan, 17, disaffected teen buckling under parental pressure and graduation dread. (Male, any ethnicity).
Lead: Nurse Ally Rennells, 56, attractive, business-like school nurse who does not suffer fools (Female, any ethnicity).
Lead: Robbie, 18, heavyset, warm, and rattled by others’ cruelty. (Male, any ethnicity)
Supporting: Maureen Finney, 40s-50s, quirky, Edie McClurg-esque assistant— cheery and indispensable. (Female, any ethnicity).
Supporting: Emma, 17, social media-obsessed teen blind to the real world. (Female, any ethnicity).
Supporting: Young Jack (1986 Flashback), 17, scrappy punk with ‘80s swagger. (Male, Caucasian).
Supporting: Christopher, 18, sharp and driven, torn between startups and service. (Male, African-American).
Supporting: Wendy, 17, average teen just trying to coast. (Female, any ethnicity).
Supporting: Ethan, 17, nerdy and floundering—especially with romance. (Male, any ethnicity).
Day Players: Ages 16-60, Seeking diverse authentic personalities with dry humor to play teens and faculty for brief, memorable scenes.
