We will be taking this weekend off and not be at the race for time!
After 10 long grueling days of nothing but hard work, we want to relax and not think about a race car! 😂

Although it’s unloaded and ready to be loaded back up, it’s just as tired as we are!

Our next race will be oct 1-3 in Ardmore for the Jordan page, that will conclude our season. We will end there and start preparing for 2027, which we’re incredibly excited for!

We are hoping to have more merch in by then, so if you’re wanting hats, pull back cars and maybe just maybe some drip chains 😉 we have those available!

SN 26 is officially in the books.

16th out of 200 plus drivers is how Tim finished!

The only words to describe this week is proud. Tim got this car done August 26th, tested it that day, ran Ardmore the 29th and won. We decided to go have some fun with it.
We never intended on going to super nationals this year, nor did we even have a car when season started. This car was nothing but bars 3 weeks ago, he built it, set it up, worked the kinks all on his own! No help. He found the speed and balance and tweaked it from there. So this week was a little extra fun and special.

Tim put himself in the position by the start of yesterday to make the show, we unfortunately had a bad Lcq feature draw and only 12 laps to get to the front on a semi one lane track. But the feeling of being so close, makes going home better because we have so much to build on now!

We can’t thank the Schmidt and Rust family enough for the hospitality, friendship, and help! We’ve gotten to park by them for 2 years now and can’t wait for many more!

Disappointed doesn’t even describe it. We were moving until we wasn’t. We both feel like we had a top 10 at the min car!

Tim found the line and started his charge to the front, when we go 3 wide down the back stretch and middle car decided it was time to turn down and right into Tim.
Fortunately nothing broke like he thought, but he hit so hard he thought he def blew a shock out so that was it.
That’s the name of the game up here, fighting for your life. Everyone wants that spot in the dance.

We’re officially done chasing points and now we wait to see where we end up 34 as of now, we have been bumped up and down from 43 to 34 so we will see once this feature is over.
But we do know Tim has put himself in a great position for tomorrow! We haven’t had the best draws and we’ve finished in tech every heat, won a b, 2nd a b, and made the a tonight! And started pole of a feature during the prelude!

The car is good. That’s just simple to put it! We’ve gained a lot of confidence in it so far this week, we’ve ran with the best of the best, beat some of the best there is by a couple seconds.

Now we wait for the final tally, and give it all she has tomorrow to make the dance! I told Tim Tuesday this year is the first time I have felt like we have a damn good shot at this.

Prelude report:

Tandra drew the #7 pill out of the bucket yesterday to start me poll of a heat race! Hopefully start of good draws.

Heat race: finished 2nd. Finally got the car to feel too loose. Redrew the 1 for A feature #1.

Feature race. Felt like the guy in 2nd jumped the start majorly but I don’t race here weekly so who knows. Dove off into turn one and we got carb stumble. Not sure if it was the high humidity along with the dew point or what but it definitely hindered my 90 race old crates performance. Dropped back to 13th at one point then was able to sneak back by a few right around the bottom to finish 8th. Nothing broke and nothing fell off the car again so a big plus.

We will definitely have something to build on this week. Hot laps Monday and Tuesday we are going to experiment with some things as well as getting a carb 101 from the guys at competition carbs to get this thing running crisp in this weather.

Race report

New car, first competitive laps.
Hot laps was super tight everywhere.
Made some changes and started outside front row of the heat. Still was super tight everywhere.

Threw the kitchen sink at it for the A. Was adjusting so much Tandra said she couldn’t even watch anymore.
Ended up pretty dang good. Started 3rd and slid for the lead on lap 4. Stretched the lead out to almost 3 seconds then a caution with 2 to go. Green, white, checkered but was able to hold off track champion Josh landers for the win.
Postitive takeaways:
90plus night old crate is still kickin
Car responds to changes
Nothing fell off the car

We want to thank everyone for their prayers and positive words for our dad and our whole family, please keep them coming! They are being heard every day!

A week ago today life flipped upside down, as Tim’s dad suffered a severe stroke and was transported to OU medical where he has been since. We was finally able to get him out of ICU about 4 days ago and that’s been a blessing!

George is making progress each and every day. The road is long but the support he has is huge! We have been blessed by seeing him take some steps yesterday, and his laugh and smile come back!

We’re expecting him to be back in a semi and at the track with us again!

We want to start by saying what a blessing and honor it’s been to have been ask to run Bubs car this year!

There will never be anything to compare to this in this racing world, we have made memories that will never fade.

Now the unfortunate news is, we are unfortunately ending our race season for the year. We set out to run for points and win some races, and we found the speed we needed and was inching close to the points.

Tim’s dad has suffered a severe stroke Saturday morning, and the time at the track is needed elsewhere and our focus has shifted from racing to getting his dad home and recovered! We ask for so many prayers for complete healing and restoration.

We can’t thank everyone enough for the words and prayers so far, it’s a long road ahead, but your words are helping and being heard. Please don’t stop.

Wow it’s been a while. We’ve been busy with content on TikTok. Give us a follow over there! Hamilton Racing 🏁

We’ve been hard at it already this season in bubbas car, but more importantly we’re making some good memories with Chrissy and the kids!
We’ve had some really fast laps, but some bad luck, so we’re hoping that changes tonight!
