Alright… now I’m going to have to read the rest of her book.

Christy’s diving headfirst into some big questions about faith, scripture, and interpretation, so if that kind of conversation interests you, her book might be worth a look.

And if the podcast gets rolling, you’ll probably need at least one Catholic willing to show up and ask a few thoughtful questions.

I volunteer.

The Greene County Health Community Blood Drive is happening this Saturday, and organizers say they need about 24 donors to meet patient demand.

If you’ve ever known someone who needed blood after surgery, an accident, or a medical emergency, you already know how important these drives are. Hospitals can’t store blood indefinitely, so supplies have to be constantly replenished.

📅 Saturday, March 28
⏰ 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
📍 Saron United Church
440 1st Street NE, Linton

If you’re able, consider taking a few minutes out of your day to donate.

Southern Indiana does a lot of things well, and Fall festivals might be near the top of the list.

One of the good ones is coming up again: St. Meinrad Rocks Fest.

If you’ve never been to St. Meinrad when the hills start turning and the music is playing, it’s worth the drive.

Sept. 25–27.

Certain songs sound different once you’ve lived long enough.

This one finally clicked for me.

There are songs you hear when you’re young that you think you understand. You don’t. Not really. You might know the melody. You might even know every word. You sing along, windows down…

No alarm in the immediate Linton area at the moment.
A shelf cloud was reportedly spotted near Evansville as storms move through the region, but nothing concerning locally right now. We’ll keep an eye on it this evening.

It’s vegetation work along high-voltage lines to help prevent outages.

If you see it, don’t panic — it’s scheduled and expected to last about three days (weather permitting).

Have you ever seen aerial trimming up close before?

Residents in parts of Greene County may notice something unusual overhead later this week: a helicopter carrying what looks like a giant, spinning blade. According to a release from Duke Energy…
