Christy’s diving headfirst into some big questions about faith, scripture, and interpretation, so if that kind of conversation interests you, her book might be worth a look.

And if the podcast gets rolling, you’ll probably need at least one Catholic willing to show up and ask a few thoughtful questions.

The Greene County Health Community Blood Drive is happening this Saturday, and organizers say they need about 24 donors to meet patient demand.

If you’ve ever known someone who needed blood after surgery, an accident, or a medical emergency, you already know how important these drives are. Hospitals can’t store blood indefinitely, so supplies have to be constantly replenished.

One of the good ones is coming up again: St. Meinrad Rocks Fest.

If you’ve never been to St. Meinrad when the hills start turning and the music is playing, it’s worth the drive.

You may notice a helicopter with a large aerial saw trimming trees near Edwardsport and Bloomfield starting Friday.

It’s vegetation work along high-voltage lines to help prevent outages.

If you see it, don’t panic — it’s scheduled and expected to last about three days (weather permitting).

Residents in parts of Greene County may notice something unusual overhead later this week: a helicopter carrying what looks like a giant, spinning blade. According to a release from Duke Energy…
