To some it’s just a chair. To me, it’s a mix of something new but also losing a bit of my Mom.

You see…I have had her desk chair as my own since about 2002-2003. She purchased it from a store called Ames that is now long gone. I think she paid maybe $20 for it. That chair became a legend in our family. However over the past 6 months, the hydraulics finally started to let go and the chair no longer raised. It became uncomfortable to sit and work

I finally caved and got the chair you see. Added a pillow for a bit more back support. My son got home from work a few nights ago and exhausted, put my chair together.

We have decided to keep the other chair in the spare room for an extra seat. Neither of us can part with it yet.

It’s so funny how a $20 chair and a memory can leave such an impact.

I’ll be honest – I’ve been way off my grocery schedule this week, and wow… the cost of grabbing food out adds up FAST. 😳 Today I stopped for a quick breakfast at McD's. $11 for a sandwich that was the size of my palm, one hash brown and a medium hot coffee. A quick lunch here, a coffee and snack there, and suddenly I’ve spent what feels like half a grocery trip on just a couple of meals.

I can’t wait to get back into the habit of packing my snacks and lunches for work. Not only does it save me money, but it saves the stress of wondering where to stop when I’m hungry.

💡 Saving tip: Keep a little stash of snacks in your car! That way when the munchies hit, you won’t be tempted by overpriced fast food. Granola bars, trail mix, protein bars or even some crackers can save both your wallet AND your time.

It’s all about finding those small ways to save a few cents here and there – because those cents add up! 💵💜

Who says saving money has to mean giving up the things you love? Sometimes it’s just about getting creative with how you spend.

Start small with something like a “No-Spend Weekend.” Yes...this is your Scentsy Fragrance Consultant saying this...hahaha!! I want to provide you ways to "Save Cents and still have your Scentsy".

Instead of eating out or hitting Target, invite friends over for a potluck dinner and a game night. Everyone brings a dish to share, a board game or deck of cards, and you’ve got laughter, connection, and memories—without the big bill at the end of the night.

The truth is, wise spending doesn’t mean living without, it means living with intention. You can still enjoy cozy nights in, fun with friends, delicious food, and entertainment. The only difference? You’re doing it in a way that protects your wallet and your peace of mind.
