I am excited to announce that SOON has been acquired for WORLDWIDE DISTRIBUTION by Indie Rights Movies! We received several distribution offers, but Indie Right's filmmaker friendly reputation and grassroots mindset really set them apart and I am excited to partner with them to bring SOON to as many people as possible. Last night at the inaugural Milwaukee Independent Film Awards, SOON walked away as WINNER in the Best Drama Feature Film category, along with an Honorable Mention for the Milwaukee Independent Spirit Award!

I'd like to thank Ezekiel N. Drews for putting on the festival and selecting SOON to compete. Special thanks to my parents Barbara Kuhn Catalano and David Catalano for providing extra support to the film which allowed me to submit to this festival. Thanks to Brittany Catalano for attending with me and for always encouraging me. This movie couldn't have been made without my cast and crew, thanks to everyone for your hard work.

I dedicate these awards to the memory of Alec Naffziger - my friend, my creative partner, my brother. Without you this film wouldn't exist and I would've given up on myself a long time ago. This is all for you. Love you, bro.

Unfortunately there wasn't enough space at the Milwaukee Independent Film Awards for a screening of SOON, in fact it seems only three features were able to be programmed for the weekend so we were far from the only ones who weren't able to make that cut.
