Quick update on Miss Maple — she’s doing so much better today. Seeing her back home, resting and acting like herself again has been the biggest relief after everything we went through this week. We’re still waiting on a few follow-ups, but for now she’s stable, comfortable, and finally healing.

Even with the good news, we’re still trying to recover from the $5,000 hospital bill stacked on top of replacing everything we lost in the fire. It’s been a rough stretch, and we’re doing our best to keep moving forward one day at a time.

Today’s a big day — we’re finally going to pick up Miss Maple and bring her home. It’s been one of the hardest weeks we’ve had in a long time. Between the unknown GI scare, the ER visits, the overnight stays, and now the reality of a $5,000 hospital bill, it’s been a lot to absorb all at once.

And honestly, after losing our home to the fire just two months ago and still trying to replace everything we owned, getting hit with this out of nowhere really shook us. We’ve been doing our best to stay strong, but it’s been heavy mentally, emotionally, and financially.
I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out, checked in, shared a post, bought something from the shop, or even just kept us in your thoughts. It truly helped us get through this week.

Miss Maple had to be rushed to the hospital with an unknown GI issue, and her bill is already around $5,000. After losing our home to the fire two months ago, this has been another huge hit mentally, emotionally, and financially. Yesterday we weren’t able to go live because our girl Miss Maple had to be rushed to the hospital out of nowhere with an unknown GI issue. After everything we’ve already been fighting through since losing our home to the fire two months ago, this hit even harder than we were ready for.
Her bill is already sitting around $5,000, and we won’t have real answers until her ultrasound on Monday. We’re trying to stay strong, but the truth is this has been overwhelming mentally, emotionally, and financially. Miss Maple is family.
