An emergency internal meeting lasting more than an hour between senior executives of the Auburn Tigers organization, Athletic Director John Cohen, the General Manager of Football Operations, and Head Coach Alex Golesh has just concluded at Jordan–Hare Stadium.

SAD NEWS: A hero of Auburn Tigers men's basketball, DJ Keller, has p.a.s.s.e.d a.w.a.y at the age of 31 following a tragic accident while on duty. He was a K9 officer, an exemplary police officer, a lifelong Auburn Tigers basketball fan, and a devoted husband and father. He was killed during a police chase on Wednesday.
The former military veteran leaves behind his wife and two-year-old daughter.
He dedicated his career to protecting the community, but ultimately, he could not protect himself from evil. The Auburn Tigers community mourns deeply, sends its heartfelt condolences to his family, and will forever be grateful for his dedication and sacrifice. 🕊️
