It's PLAYTIME for Special Olympics Arkansas YOUNG ATHLETES!
Special Olympics Young Athletes™ is a unique sport and play program for children with intellectual disabilities. The focus is on fun activities that support mental and physical growth.
Children ages 2 to 7 enjoy games and activities that develop motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Young Athletes is an early introduction to sports and to the world of Special Olympics. The children learn new things, play, and have lots of fun. These building blocks result in notable improvements in a child’s motor skills, cognitive development, social skills, emotional development, and communication skills.

We can not say enough about how wonderful it was to read this post about Kroger providing gift cards to Arkansas Foodbank to be given to local families.
Times are tough, our families are struggling—and when a corporation takes the time to notice a need they can help fulfill and then actually act on it to support, well, that is worth taking note of and saying a big THANK YOU to our friends at Kroger.

🎃🐾 It’s Howl-O-Ween time at the Little Rock Zoo! Get ready for a day packed with costumes, dancing, and big fun for the whole family this Saturday, October 18!

👻 Schedule of Events:
9:00AM–10:15AM: Snap a pic with our adorable Zoo mascots
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: MJ the DJ spinning toons in the Front Plaza
10:30AM: Costume Contest at the Elephant Stage (everyone’s a winner!)
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: DJ AJ spinning toons in the Civitan Pavilion

Come dressed to impress, meet new friends, climb, play, spin on the Carousel, and take a ride on the Train. It’s going to be spooktacular!
