This is the view of the severe thunderstorm near the Conway area from our central Arkansas skycamera!

This storm will be capable of producing 60 mph winds and quarter sized hail! NO tornado threat with this storm!

This is why we've been driving the skycamera project so much Arkansas!

Seeing reports of damage from this storm, we have folks who can help! Check below!

Quick Radar Update:

We have some afternoon showers/storms developing!

NONE of this activity is going to pose significant issues, however, some of these storms could briefly produce gusty winds/small hail.

There is a Level 1/5 risk for that in north-northeast AR today for this reason!

Whoever gets rain, PLEASE enjoy it. We need it BAD right now.

Good morning Arkansas! Instead of the usual Monday morning Natural State Weather Story as we are in the process of redoing the studio, going to go ahead an roll this out today!

We are excited to announce the all new Natural State Weather Live! As we have talked about over the last few weeks, this is an all new streaming platform from Arkansas Weather Watchers that is 100% FREE to download! This includes all of your needed information on a daily basis! Evening Forecast outlooks will return soon as well on here. Also, we will be starting a new podcast type setup LIVE show likely early next year where we will have all kinds of neat things for you!

This goes along with our suite of Natural State Weather products including the camera network and the weather/sports stories as well! We are EXTREMELY excited for this! We are not leaving social media, this just gives us an extra and BETTER avenue to serve you!

If you had the old AWW Roku channel, then it updated automatically. If you have not downloaded yet, be sure you do! Apple TV is next on our list. Looking forward to serving our great state in this new way! Natural State Weather Live, always live, always local!

Good Morning Arkansas!

Rain and storm chances are expected to return back to the state for your Monday timeframe! We are not expecting to have widespread severe weather! These storms are going to be isolated in nature!

Temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid 90's across the state!

Statewide 8 Day Forecast:

Warmer temperatures continue to be the trend for the next few days for this upcoming week. Isolated rain/storm chances also return back to the state for most of this week! However, we are not expecting to have widespread showers or storms!

A weak cold front will make its way into the state on Wednesday night/Thursday morning and another weak cold front on Friday. These cold fronts are not really going to do anything to drastically effect the temperatures for the state, but they will increase the likelihood for isolated pop up showers to occur!

Temperatures are going to hover around the mid 80's to mid 90's across the next 8 days! Overnight lows will be in the 60's!

Warmer temperatures and dry conditions continue to be the trend for your Wednesday timeframe!

Temperatures will creep back into the 90's for most of the state! Highs will range from the upper 80's to the low 90's across the state!

Hope you all have enjoyed the cool day today! This week is gonna feature a bit of a warm up to the state but it wont be to terrible. We are looking at highs in the low 90's throughout the state with Lows in the upper 60's. And as far as rain.....yeah I dont expect us to see any for the remainder of this week.

⚠ Our goal is to get the majority of the state filled in green as we head towards our secondary severe weather season/winter season! ⚠

We've made pretty good progress on our statewide sky-camera network over the summer (off-season) but we have a LOT of areas that still need a camera!
