R E A L W E D D I N G | Sara and David met through mutual friends, and within the first month, she knew he was the one for her!

“We were together 10 months before David proposed,” Sara said. “When you know, you know!”

The two decided to start a special tradition, to celebrate Christmas just the two of them before joining their families for the holidays. They decided to celebrate their own Christmas on December 23 with a cozy brunch and gift exchange every year!

“David had something even more special in store,” Sara said. “Unbeknown to me, he had secretly arranged for our families to join us for dinner that evening. His excitement got the best of him—before we even started cooking brunch, he dropped to one knee and popped the question!”

It’s that time of year✨ Submit your real weddings by October 10 for a chance to be considered in our upcoming issue of Arkansas Bride!

Here are some tips to up your chances:
• Share your entire gallery (if possible!) We want to see every moment from your special day🤍
• Share your entire vendor list! We want to make sure every vendor who worked to make your day special gets the credit they deserve!

What we’re looking for:
• Being yourself. I know, I know – cheesy! But, it’s true🤍 We want unique wedding days where your personality shines through the details!
• Couples from all over Arkansas! We want to show off amazing weddings from every region, so don’t be discouraged if you aren’t tying the knot in a big city – we want to feature weddings from small town to big city.
• Couples. Not just brides and grooms, but COUPLES who are in love. Yes, our name may be “Arkansas Bride,” but we want to feature YOUR wedding. Just because you aren’t a bride, doesn’t mean we don’t want your wedding. We want to showcase everyone who represents love🤍
• Vendors We Love! Check out our list of VWL in our magazine to see if you hired someone we adore. But remember – Arkansas Bride is a comprehensive resource, which means we’ll pick weddings even if you didn’t hire a VWL🤍

Photographers, brides, grooms and other wedding vendors are invited to share the photographs from their events for consideration as we create upcoming editions. Submit your photos by providing a link to a downloadable gallery (must provide a gallery password and download pin at the time of submission, with no expiration date). Photos should be edited and ready for publication at the time of submitting. Submission deadlines are typically around late March and early September each year (though subject to change). R E A L W E D D I N G | Landri and Brandon met at the University of Arkansas in 2020 through a mutual friend. The two became close friends before the COVID-19 pandemic started in March and from then on, they were inseparable!

Brandon proposed on March 11th, 2023 at Sassafras Springs Vineyard in Springdale. He planned a nice birthday dinner for Landri, and little did she know her friends and family would be joining them to celebrate.

The two were engaged for 20 months and quickly came across the newest venue in Northwest Arkansas, The Grand at Willow Springs.

“When we first looked it was nothing but a slab of concrete,” Landri said. “The Walker family showed us all the plans for the wedding venue and we quickly fell in love!”
