UPDATE IN REGARDS TO THE FATAL DOG MAULING.

The mauling took place at a home on 22nd street and Lancaster blvd.

Family and friends want the public to know that, the Dog mauling victim was the innocent victim of a savage, unprovoked dog attack. He had absolutely no part in the care, mistreatment, or neglect of these animals. Instead, this tragedy occurred as a direct result of others’ failure to properly care for the dogs.
The victim was an invited guest and allegedly walk into the backyard by a female from the home.

The victim did not break in or trespass .

The female at the home was place under arrest for allegations of child abuse / neglect.
The child was removed from the home by DCFS

At this time it is unknown if criminal charges will be filed in regards to the death by mauling from the dogs.

Neighbors have not had basically anything good to say about the home and occupants.

FATAL SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION
At approximately 2:05 am Wednesday morning a single vehicle rollover collision occured . The vehicle rolled into a ditch and erupted into flames with the driver trapped inside of vehicle. The collision occurred at the corner of Avenue N and 30th street west. No further details are available at this time...
