The City of Livonia just got its FY2025 audit results — and the headline is good: a clean opinion from independent auditors, meaning the books check out.

But "clean" doesn't mean there's nothing to talk about. Swipe through for 10 things worth knowing, including:
→ A $486.5M balance sheet (and what that actually means)
→ Why the general fund's reserve just hit its highest level since 2018
→ Pension and retiree health funds that are 97% and 102% funded
→ One city fund running dangerously low on cash
→ Big changes coming to how Michigan funds road repairs
→ How Livonia stacks up against neighboring cities

Every number here comes straight from the Finance & Budget Committee's June 8 meeting packet, with the full breakdown — sources, page numbers, and all — linked in bio.

City Council votes on whether to accept the audit at its June 15 meeting.
