What a fantastic night in Lombard!

The Lombard Historical Society’s Food Truck Social on Saturday, September 5 was a huge success! With beautiful weather, a wonderful crowd, delicious food, and plenty of fun for families and children, it was a great evening of community coming together.

One of the biggest highlights of the night — the raffle raised more than $7,000 to support the Lombard Historical Society!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, purchased raffle tickets, enjoyed the food trucks, brought the family, and helped make the evening such a success.

Events like this are a wonderful reminder of what makes our community so special. Congratulations to the Lombard Historical Society on a terrific event, and thank you to everyone who showed up to support the important work they do preserving and sharing Lombard’s history.

Glen Ellyn’s rescheduled Fourth of July festivities are coming up this weekend, with an evening of entertainment planned at Lake Ellyn!

Boat Dock seating opens at 5:30 pm, with a skydiver jump at 6:30 pm. The drone show will begin between 7:15-7:45 pm, with fireworks immediately following.

🎆 Lombard’s America 250 Fireworks Display is this weekend! Join Lombard on Sunday, Sept. 6, at Madison Meadow Park as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a community fireworks display over Labor Day weekend.

✂️🎉 A wonderful ribbon cutting celebration in Lombard!

We had a great time celebrating and welcoming Leaving Prints 7 Petal School, one of the newest members of the lombard_il_chamber!

Located at the corner of Finley Road and Roosevelt Road, Leaving Prints 7 Petal School is a beautiful Spanish immersion school creating a warm, engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

It was wonderful seeing the beautiful facility and celebrating alongside the staff, children, families, community members, and the Lombard Chamber. ❤️
